FAQ
Question:What size would you buy for .308?
Answer:I would get the 8mm/375 Caliber one. .308 is 7.82mm so it should work just fine. The .2mm difference will not make a difference.
The bullet of a .308 Winchester is 7.8 mm and the neck diameter of the case is 8.72. Therefore, I would pick the 8mm/375 Calibre selection in the pop up menu.
Question:What are these used for? What would I get for my 30-30 and 30-.06? Thanks!
Answer:Your rifle rod is probably 3x32 female threads, most shotgun jags/mops are 5/16x27 threads. You could use an adapter like Hoppe's No. 9 conversion adapter, rifle to shotgun ($1.99). Slotted or solid jags both work for me.
Question:Does Tipton make this for a 30-30 calibre?
Answer:yes
Question:how do you clean this? is this 1 time use only?
Answer:No way to clean that I know of. I use one to swap, multiple times and use another one to clean. I use them until there not effective. You can wrap a cleaning patch around them if you like.
Question:What size fits my .380?
Answer:Probably .40 cal would be a better fit. They make a .375 but that may feel loose after a few uses. Good luck.
Question:I have multiple.177 air guns. Will the 17 cal fit them?
Answer:No the brush is way to big.
