FAQ:
1. Question:How do you regulate the pump? also is there a gauge so you can see how many kpa or hg is being drawn? i'm using it for milking
Answer:No regulation- it's just on. For refrigeration evacuations you want the most you can get. Usually you let it run for at least a half hour, sometimes way longer. No gauge is there (a person who does refrigeration work will have his own). I suspect that for milking you want something different.
2.Question: will this work for stabilizing wood in a vacumm chamber? Thanks
Answer:That is what I use it for. I am at 1700+ ft elevation and pull 27 Hg on my gauge.
3.Question:Where can i get the oil for this?
Answer:It comes with about 250ml of oil
4.Question:Will the pump pressurize to test for leaks in addition to pull vacuum?
Answer:You could always make a vacuum and spray water to check for leaks. You would have to fix then pull all the moisture out anyway
